Lessons from those four years.....

Hi friends,

Never expected to turn up sooo soon here again;). But its a gloomy sunday evening, and nowhere to go and nothing to do..so just bumped in;).

Well, every experience leaves behind two things in our hearts - MEMORIES and LESSONS.
In my previous blog, i mentioned a bit of my memorable moments in SCE. The 'lessons' part of it , i will be mentioning here.:)And i dont mean the lessons on c,c++,zava(;)),Usp...etc..etc..(we have had enough of that in the four years!!!);).Just chalking out the important lessons of LIFE that I wanna share with you all:):)

This comes straight from the heart of a 'PHILOSOPHER' - A typical Saggittarian!!!!

Never Live In NOTIONS:
At this 21st century, our networking is so strong; that we dont venture into anything without at least a minimum amount of knowledge and feedbacks about it.Of course, thats a good thing! (else i would have never ever started blogging itself;)). But what we tend to do is that we start building up 'notions' around them, and start dwellin in them. A similar case happened with me too!!Ever before getting an admission to SCE, i had got so many feedbacks(most being negative ones) from people and a few seniors then; that i felt that i m upto wasting 'four precious years of my life'!!! Hardly, had i anticipated such major twists and turns in life then!!! Hardly had i thought that my hands will be full of such useful experiences, good people around me, and such a beautiful academic and college life. That i will write a blog PRAISING and THANKING god for putting me in SCE was the least i could dream of(never occured actually);)!!! And here i m, with my SECOND one......................!!!!!:):)
I m sure, each one of you would have got a bunch of peopl and memories (from SCE) that you jus want to not lose and keep for lifetime!!!(had you ever anticipated them at the time of joining SCE....????;))

Keep your 'OPTIMISM' alive;
It's really a beautiful and comforting feeling to think things like "Nothing is permanent in life, this too shall pass away.." when you are the weakest point of life!!!Specially when your mind and body is at the receiving end, the thought that "you are just a 'soul' stuffed inside a body..you are NOT this mind, and you are NOT this body" gives you a sense of 'newness' and a 'fresh energy' ;at times of difficulties:):)..(of course none wants to think such things, not even me, while partying having a great time with buddies; and when life is smooth!!!;);)). But these are the thoughts you count on, when reality gets the hell out of you;):)..
Friends, though i m not imposing any of these lessons on you; i would definitely want you take heed of this particular one:):)Hope this one particular thing proves useful to you at some point of your life:):).

Just be 'yourself':
Well, there are certain moments; wher you need to keep apart your ego, status quo, prejudices, expectations and the like things and just give in your best(without thinking about the results or wat others think of you!!!)My experiences on this were completely different though. But i am proud to see many of my classmates here following it:):)bharathi,shilu...kudos to them. Though we all know that for an Engineering degree in I.T., we deserve to get into some place really better and of course, with a handsome salary package. But hats off to these guys, they have really known the value of time and they ventured in the best without having slight ego about it:):):)
And this, exactly is what i meant by mentioning it:):)

Happiness is self-created:
I bow down to the one who has said this!!!!This really works!!!Laughter and happiness does require a bit of effort and skill at times. And just take that from me:):):):)!!!!

Never judge 'people':
Well, i have nothing much to explain about it(perhaps you will thank god for NOT writing a biiiig para on at least this one;) ). But it so happened, that the people i was too attached to and who claimed to be 'close' to me, happend to somehow not being available during tough times( of course, one's own prosperity is much more important than another's adversity:)!!). and the people whom i least expected, pulled me out of them!!!!That's life!!!and thats the way it is!!!:):)

Finally, i just say this: take any subject or a topic . Let it be a subject of 'c++'.You got lots of books, articles, handbooks and tonnes of materials on it. But what matters the most is the book
'which you find the most comfortable in learning'.
The same holds with the lessons of 'life'.You may find these things that i ve put, in any 'self-help' or 'philosophy' books. But 'how' and 'when' you actually learn them, is of ultimate importance. In my case, it was my college days that i was 'tested' in life and i learnt them. Hope it helps at least one of YOU, the reader, at some or the other point of time.:):)
Wishing you all the best ....:):):)
Cheers............................

  13. I agree with last 2 points. Happiness is self created. And i faced similar situations where i found people whom i considered close were far. And people whom u never considered became so close. :)
