Glimpse of me in Bhubaneshwar..

Hey guys,

Prologue...

I just read through all of my bday wishes on orkut, and i felt bad of not being able to respond to u guys:(.Firstly, a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG THAANKS to all of u for ur wishes:).anyways i hope u guys reading this. Just wanted to say that i got a job, and i am in bhubaneshwar rite now, for my training. It all happend in such a hurry-burry, that i cudnot inform many of u:), hope u all doing fine...n just keep in touc all:):).. Hope u have a good read...there's more to go:)

M here!at BBSR!

Huff...after a hell lot of confusion, thinking, sessions of brain storming and head breaking, i m finally HERE!!BHUBANESHWAR!!

Learnt a lot in the 10 days of my life spent here. Never knew that 'hindi' has so many forms!!Like, it takes a south indian(with a pretty decent knowledge of hindi), to translate and decode the hindi they speak here, to a northie!!! Foooooooood!!!!!No offense, but u wont find oriya food in any part of the world(and; of course, vice versa).Taste wise-no resemblance to either south/north indian food. Technically - something similar to gujarati food(cz they add jaggery to everything). But must add, that as far as nutrition is concerned, this place will stand among the first best places(cz they generously put lotsa vegetables in the sabzees(more in quantity, than u will find in any other place)
Thankfully, at least i had no problem with the language here cz they speak the same kinda hindi as i do(i learnt that the hindi of M.P. is the toughest one to decode!!!!)

Talking about my career here- i just took my first step into IT just few days back, and i learnt that its a world much bigger than only 'computer systems' and 'nerdy-looking' people. A world, little more colorful (conditions apply:SUBTRACT the stress, overwork part of it)!!!It was an amazing journey from my hometown to bhubaneshwar. Six of us, who were just 'one meeting' old friends to each other; started out to our journey to bhubaneshwar. And i dunno why i feel like happily telling this, that each among us was from different cultural background-a completely different personality in himself: a bangalore based telugoit, an andhraite, a haryanvi, a kanpurian & an ahmedabad-born, bangalore based tamilian!!!!(a mini india, thats what i say!!:)). And throughtout the journey we had healthy discussions about the sharp difference between the north & south indian customs!! And i even learnt about the 'false' notions that the north and south indians have about each other respectively!!!!(Yes! i did, and for once i had a strange proud sense to call myself an INDIAN):)Sentiments apart...It was a beautiful journey, with the fun added by an oriya native(who had travelled with us) who helped us out when we reached bhubaneshwar. Must say, that IT is a mini cosmopolitan world.

The life that i m living here is so very new, exciting and completely different; that m getting confused and not able to pick the proper words to express myself clearly!!:(Lots to express, but limited memory and words!!:P..Compressed work, hectic schedule, yet loads of fun with the team. In the office, i think of when to wash my clothes, and more importantly 'HOW do i do it'. In the night, i think of what time should i keep the alarm for the next morning(never did that before!!!). The bag which i carry to office, still got some of the luggage which i had carried in it, while travelling!!Hmm..to my SCE classmates i wud precisely say that my life is something like 'Re-living SCE days, with a flavor of IIT life'. Outside office, its fun fun & fun with the 6-10 of us hanging out, cracking jokes, and having loads of language translation & confusion(as i told u before, each one is from a different background).Inside office, needless to say - work loaded, reloaded, again loaded, and then overloaded:P. New friends, new place- and life just adds to more surprises &  shocks.(tw). Ya. and note this point- that its really very difficult to find an accommodation for an outsider here in bhubaneshwar.(this, from my personal experience). Otherwise, the place rocks. And one more trivia i wanted to add, is that the Indian & SriLankan team were our neighbours for a while(i mean, they were put up at the hotel just next to ours, just befor the Cuttack match that was held few days ago)!!And that too feels so exciting!!!::):):)Hmm..n we had our first team outing just yesterday(26th dec), to the movie 'three idiots', and each one of us missed our college days like hell; but that got us even closer to each other, cz v ended up sharing our college experiences.

Beg your pardon, if you not able to find any kinda link between the statements..m still just settling down.trying to get in tune with the place...yet i just got time to write whatever i wanted to express so far....Keep in touch friends:)

Cheers ....
