A Sneak peek into the mystic world..
It looked like an ancient era, post Budhdha!! Three travelers (all girls) reached what it looked like a sea-shore, in a mystical blue twilight, just before sunrise. At a distance, sat a huge Statue of the Budhdha, in a posture similar to Lord Shiva’s (a meditating posture). The travelers had come with a knowledge that the peak of Statue was reachable! Adjacent to the Statue, there was a hill (almost as big as the Statue itself. Looked as if a part of the hill was leaning against the statue) And at the peak of the hill, there was a closed semi-circular dorm resembling a prison cell. It had two windows on opposite sides , each of which had closely spaced iron bars, spacious enough to let lean people penetrate into it. With great excitement, the travelers climbed up the hill, and reached the dorm. Now all these travelers were lean enough to sneak in the cell, and so they entered one by one, through the window. Now to disappoint you (as well as myself), I would say that there was nothing remarkable about this dorm, except that it offered a spectacular view of the surrounding. From one side, you could see the horizon where the sun was just about to wake up; and from the exactly opposite side there was a forest spread as far and wide, as your eyes could view. There was comlete silence. Each of the three travelers was just enjoying ,in peace, the scenic beauty that that moment was offering. None spoke to the rest. And all of a sudden came violent roars, from almost near the base of the hill….
GGGGGRRRRRRAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW
GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. Struck with panic and fear, the trio came near the window from where the roars were heard much clearer, and stared down. Two hefty, strong huge tigers (one was a white tiger, the other was a normal one) were climbing the hill. Not knowing what to do, the trio looked around for help, just when they heard a thick voice, from somewhere nearby. “Don’t panic, just lie down so that the beasts cannot see you; I assure they would not enter the dorm. So stay there silent for a while, and stay out of the beasts’ sight, else you may never come out of the dorm”. It was a lady dressed in black robes. It looked like she was somebody who was too familiar with the place. Perhaps, somebody who was a native there. The travelers did as said. All the three lied down so that they were not visible to the tigers. The two tigers climbed up the peak, strolled around the dorm. The travelers stayed there silent, with each one’s heart thumping outta fear!!! The purrs and roars were clearly heard at intervals, until after a while when there was no noise. One of the travelers (perhaps the bravest one in the lot) dared to just raise a bit to look around for the beasts. Did not find the animals. Got up at her feet now, and again looked around. Found that the tigers were already down the hill. The lady still standing there (seemed as if the tigers were familiar to the lady),”you are safe now. The animals would go and rest in their (caves). Catch up your own way, just make sure that you don’t disturb them.” Whheeeeewwwww!!! Heaved a sigh of relief, came out of the dorm and started walking down the hill. Walking down was as thrilling an experience as it was while climbing up (the fact that they were so close to a great divine figure , kept them in a blissful state).
Scene two- kahani me twist!!
At the base, there was only one traveler!!!(the other two had disappeared, I dunno how and why)(No! The tigers had not eaten them up. Just that they were not into the scene). The forest too, was not there!!And instead there was a very very narrow road (with walls covering both the sides, something like the Great Wall of China ). It was the only route through which the lone traveler could carry her journey forward! And by then the sun had risen. It was morning. The traveler walked through the only path she had. AAArrrrrgggghhhhh!!! A huge , very big (bigger than the previous two) TIGRESS was sitting on the path, covering almost the width of it!!!( Please, don’t ask me how did I find out that it was a tigress. A gut feeling says that it was INDEED a tigress). She roared once looking at the traveler, but it did not look like she would attack her. She was just sitting where she was, composed; staring at the traveler. The traveler was completely petrified. Seemed like the tigress understood the state of the traveler, and now looked a little less violent indicating that she meant no harm to her. The way she (tigress) looked into the human’s eyes, looked like she was communicating something to her (traveler). But the traveler failed to decode it. Nothing was happening, there was a complete pause for a while. All of a sudden a monk-like figure appeared and said to the traveler, “If you are pure at heart, true to yourself; then you can cross the tigress easily, she would not harm you. But if you are not, then she would at once pounce at you. Remember, she (tigress) knows you more than yourself.” The monk disappeared after saying this.
It was kind of a ‘self-evaluation’ test for the traveler. She absolutely had no clue as to where did she stand in terms of being ‘true to herself’. No human ever would have thought how true they are to themselves, maybe rarely! She was in a fix. She could not think of carrying her journey forward, just out of fear (though she wanted to!!). She just stood there, closed her eyes and started singing hymns of God (only to re-discover her voice!!)(She was not dumb! But she was once-upon-a-time a good singer, who had lost the characteristic somewhere down the lane)..She just kept on singing….
............and here, my dream faded slowly..:(………………

How I wished the dream showed me the climax. Dreams sometimes communicate life with you. Had I known the end, I would have learnt a very important thing about the lone traveler..who was in fact…Me…….Myself….
I have got questions based on the above:
1) What does it signify getting a Statue and tigers, tigresses in dreams?(just curiousJ)
2) How do they guide you in life? (Specially when it doesNOT come out of any similar experience in the day)(No! I did not read the MONK who sold his Ferrari on that day, NO! I did not watch any tigers or any huge STATUES anywhere on tv. NO! I did not see the great wall of China too! The only thing I could relate to with the dream was that I was deeply repenting over something on that day)
3) Do you believe that dreams have got to do anything at all with your Real life?
Answers matter to an instinctive soul:P…..
LOLZ:D Funny. I got up with the song ‘aare aare’, from the movie ‘New York ’ ringing in my mind:P
